Mejje Mathias, Trevor
My name is Mejje Mathias Trevor (Born 17th January 1996), I have just finished my BSc. Agricultural Engineering awaiting graduation in March, 2021. I am also a certified project manager from University of California, Irvine and a certified Geographical Information Systems (GIS) specialist from ESRI. I am also a computer programmer in machine learning languages of python and C++ and currently learning JavaScript and HTML. I am enthusiastic about learning new things with a further passion of passing these on to the community. This can be seen in my participation in the design and implementation of the Namutya, Manyowe, Ongole and Adonia small scale irrigation schemes in Kayunga, Butebo, Katakwi and Budaka districts respectively found in Eastern Uganda.
I have gained experience in modern Agricultural practices from Limoto, Kamp David and Bumuse Small Scale Irrigation schemes in Pallisa, Amuria and Manafwa districts respectively in Eastern Uganda. These are skills that I look forward to passing on to the youth of Kachomo. I envision a community that will practice modern agricultural techniques with a background theory of why they have to do so. I envision a community that will add value to their produce hence improving their livelihoods. KDF offers a platform to achieve this.
