Executive director and Coordinator
Kasibo, Lizzy
My name is Lizzy Kasibo, I have worked in education for over 20 years in the UK, working with younger children and in school administration.
My passion is helping my students see the positive side of themselves and in particular helping them reach the full extent of their potential. When at home, I do the same with my two children, Bethany and Zion. I encourage the skills where they excel and strengthen the areas they need to improve.
Teaching is leading students on an adventure, it is an adventure filled with highs and lows and the eventual joy of success. If you want to achieve something, with hard work and determination you will. I know all students are not the same, some take a different way to the others and need extra help and support. Others travel in a different time frame but they mustn't lose sight of their goals. Giving up on a child isn't on my list of options; imagine how much they will learn as they carry on building up their self belief.
'Nobody said it would be easy, they just said it would be worth it.' - Harvey McKay.
Meeting the new students and teachers who will be the heart of our school will be a dream come true. The KDF Academy will give them a future for themselves and their country and show the best of Uganda to the world.
